At PBIS our budding Karatekas are taught exercises meant for their growing bodies and Karate techniques, as well, as life values for their exploring and curious minds. Our training teaches them to respect themselves, their opponents, siblings and adults. We also teach them to push themselves and develop a 'never say die' attitude, with humility and pride in what they have achieved as they progress from white belt to the coveted Black belt in a period covering normally 4 years or more. This is the way or “DO” of traditional Karate-do training.

A sport that tests your gross motors to the limit within a very limited space and that too indoors, table tennis is also offered to students at PBIS as an extra-curricular activity. Children learn the art of hand- eye coordination, control, flexibility and speed.
Free play, the latest play concept introduced in PBIS, is interwoven with values. Here we test the interpersonal skills of children, the way they adhere to rules, the way they share and cooperate with peers and the way they resolve conflict. Given the freedom to bring about solutions without adult intervention, children are given opportunities to develop their personality, mathematical perception and problem solving skills, creativity, innovation, and are motivated to think beyond guidance to be able to face the world as it is.
If it is patience, accuracy, increased logical reasoning and visual perception you are looking for, Carrom is a game you can opt for as your extra–curricular activity and PBIS offers it for you. It involves children to engage in healthy competition, one value that is essential for global harmony.
