Plastic-Free Awareness Campaign
In a strong step towards environmental protection, students from Scouts and Guides,
Junior Red Cross (JRC), Eco Club, Climate Club and the National Green Corps
conducted a Plastic-Free Awareness Campaign at Kumaresan Nagar, Tirunelveli. As
part of the campaign, they cleaned up plastic waste from the locality and went door to
door to spread awareness about segregating degradable and non-degradable waste.
The initiative aimed to encourage responsible waste management and reduce plastic
usage in the community. Hon’ble Deputy Mayor Mr. K.R. Raju, Mr. Mathivanan,
Arunbugal Trust and the Ward Councillor Mr. R. Muthusubramanian visited the site and
appreciated the students for their active participation and commitment to a cleaner
environment.
