Pushpalata LitFest 2026, the fifth edition of the school’s annual literary festival, was inaugurated
by Dr. R. Thirunavukkarasu, IPS, Deputy Inspector General of Police. The festival brought
together celebrated authors Deepak Dalal, Pika Nani (Deepika Murthy), Varsha Seshan, Anita
Mani, Roopa Pai, S. Muthukumari and Marudhan, who inspired students through engaging
storytelling, interactive sessions and thought-provoking discussions that fostered creativity,
curiosity and a love for reading. A vibrant Book Fair, organised in partnership with Funky
Rainbow, offered students a rich collection of children’s books and the opportunity to interact with
authors and receive signed copies. The students of Mitra Centre for Autism showcased their
vocational skills through handcrafted products and baked goods and enthusiastically participated
in an interactive storytelling session by Muthamma B. Devaya, Co-Founder of Funky Rainbow.
The festival concluded with an inspiring valedictory address by Marudhan, leaving students with
cherished memories and a renewed passion for literature and lifelong learning.
