Children’s Day and Diwali :

Children’s Day and Diwali were celebrated by conducting many activities for the children of class 1 to 5 on November 12th 2020. All the activities were conducted online. The children actively participated in activities like word game, puzzles, poster making and fashion show . Children of class 4 & 5  made models of a deepam using colour papers and also made  posters to depict ways to celebrate a safe Diwali. The Children of class 3 exhibited their knowledge and understanding about festivals by participating in the activity “ Puzzles on festival” .Students of class 3 also participated in a fashion show. They were asked to dress up as a character from the puranas. They did a fashion walk and talked about those mythological characters and proved their in depth knowledge. Word games were conducted for the students of class 1 & 2 to test their knowledge on different kinds of vegetables.

 

STD : VI – X

We are glad to share with you that as a part of Children’s Day and Diwali celebration, the students from Class 6 to Class 10 were engaged in different activities and what was impressive was, their active participation.

The following were the list of activities in which the children were totally engrossed:

making different varieties of Laddus (Eg. Maladu).

Preparing a poster on ‘Diwali celebrations across the country’.

Making a lamp using Maida, painting and decorating them.

Writing slogans and poems on ‘Safe Diwali’ or Sharing Diwali.

 

Doing a craft work which could be displayed and be used as decoration for Diwali (Wall Hangings)           

The Children also talked on the Topic“on “What you value the most as a gift material (Things) or person (Time) knowledge (Book) and why?

The Students of Class 10 created their own festival and wrote an essay with illustrations on how the festival will be celebrated.

It was indeed a wonderful experience for both the students and the teachers, Thanks to the Management for inspiring all, in spite of this Pandemic situation the world is facing.

Kindness lights the path to God

During Diwali celebration students shared their thoughts on Random acts of kindness through PPT and speeches
